About Me

Yo yo!

My name is Brandon Mach, and I’m currently studying Game Programming at The Game Assembly in Malmö. And before that, I graduated from Malmö University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Game Development.

I’m mainly a gameplay programmer, but have dabbled in developing piplines particular for animations and graphical artists, but also in developing tools for level designers.

My programming journey started back in upper secondary school were I developed smaller games in Unity. I continued at Malmö University’s Game Development program, where I learned the agile workflow which I later practiced during summer internships.

It wasn’t until I started TGA that I got to work on a game from start to finish. From the initial planning phase to the development and delivery of a finished product. It was also my first time working together with multiple disciplines. After working on 6 game project, I discovered that my favourite part of developing games is working together with other disciplines. I enjoy learning about other aspects of game development that aren’t just about coding, like the social aspect, and the brainstorming of fun and unique idéas. By understanding other disciplines, the development process becomes more fun and enjoyable hopefully reflecting in the final product.

In my free time I’m most likely playing a Nintendo game my favourite being the Super Smash Bros series. If not a Nintendo game, then I’m unfortunately playing League of Legends trying to get out of Gold.

When I’m not playing games (sometimes even while I play games), I like to watch football both at home and live in a stadium.
